Boat charter Algarve - Algarve Fishing
Charters
Fishing the waters of the Algarve has developed
from a means of sustainance for the Portuguese people, to a
recreational pastime enjoyed by tourists all year round. The
Atlantic Ocean in this region is rich in many sea fish species
including: sea bream, bass, mackerel and grouper, so fishing
charters are normally assured of a good sized catch.
Sea fishing the Atlantic from the Algarvian coast has one clear
advantage, the weather. The seasoned sea fisherman may not worry too
much if the sun isn´t shining when he goes to sea, but when the
weather is pleasant and the sea is calm, a charter becomes an event
for all the family. Even those with the weakest of sea legs can
enjoy their time on deck with little risk of
sea sickness and absolutely no need for oil skins.
The inexperienced can learn to fish with the experienced, employing
tackle and bait provided specifically for the job in hand. Even
beginners are almost certain to experience the thrill of their first
catch on board an Algarve fishing boat, making them far more likely
to return to the sport in the future.
The beauty of the Algarve coast line always brings something extra
to any day spent on board an Algarve charter. It means that the non
fishermen on board have something other than a float or a bite
indicator to keep their attention and whilst the fishermen fish, the
non fisherman can relax and soak up the sun.
Where there are fish, so there are dolphins and there is always a
strong chance that these magnificent creatures will make an
appearance at some point during the day. Common Dolphins, Spotted
Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins and Striped Dolphins can all be seen
in Algarve waters and they seem to enjoy the company of those on
board a fishing charter, swimming along side the
boat as it cruises out to sea.
